| I think they are turning out to be a great turbo despite the scepticism of some members. I was comparing my chart to yours and mine looks about 500 rpm shifted to the left. Maybe the benefit of Gregs manifolds. Consistently making these numbers on pump gas seems to suggest they are probably very efficient turbos. Sounds like they dont generate much extra heat at these levels. Will be very interested to see how you go on racegas as mine got nothing extra from just advancing the timing. If you can get more boost out of it though should get some good numbers. Have you had any trouble with the actuators? I had to adjust mine just to get up to 23psi. Be careful on the racegas. I dont know what sort of monitoring youve got, but with my motec it monitors absolutely everything, and the Nismo 555s definately max out on these turbos (and they were flow tested prior to install). Be careful of it going really lean at high rpm. A suggestion for the detonation question, your tuner should hook into the stock detonation sensor if its working. My tuner hooks it up to earphones and reckons he can hear the first sound of detonation in the engine. He said that the noise is so loud in the headphones he has to pull them off even before someone right next to the engine can hear it. Also after a few days of driving and whatnot, Im very happy so far that the lag between shifts is not noticeable. Even at low rpms its been getting back on boost very quickly. Congrats on the numbers. Cant wait to see the racegas numbers. Might have to take mine in for another tune to reclaim the high score :)
